Would like to thank the show committee for asking me to judge. Due to covid I have waited 6 years for the honour to judge the breed I love and have been in for just over 20 years. Thank you to all that entered under me, I was very humbled by my entry. Since the last time I judged the standard of the males has improved and the bitches have kept the quality I saw before. I was spoilt for choice.

Class 1168 SBD/B (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2615 DOMOTORI, Miss Anita LUCKY FOR YOU WESLEY (IMP HUN) JW. 2 year old red and white dog, coat in amazing condition and kept very well. Pleasing head with correct proportions, eye colour matches his coat giving a soft expression. Strong bone without being overdone. Lovely front and rear angulation, spring of rib and depth of chest, level topline which leads to a good sloping croup. Very sound on the move.
2nd: 2643 LEA, Miss Sarah CALARETO ALL MY LOVING JW. There was not a lot separating 1st and 2nd, and any other day could have been the other way round. 21 month old black and white bitch. Feminine head, up a tipped ears giving pleasing expression. Lovely reach of neck to well-placed shoulders, depth of chest and spring of rib good for age. Very good turn of stifle. Coat in lovely condition. Moved well, very in tune with her handler.

Class 1169 VD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2690 WALTERS, Ms A GOYTRE SMOKIN GUN. 12yrs olds and still looking and showing at his best. Very masculine head, stop strong without being overdone. Lovely reach of neck to well placed shoulders. Level topline, good length of loin. Good turn of stifle to well let down hocks. Moved very true for his age. Moved with extension, with minimal lift in the rear. He could out move some of the youngsters that are in the ring today.
2nd: 2654 MOCKFORD, Miss J E QUORIES SWEEP FROM SNOWMERE (ISDS) RL6. 13 year old tri colour. I have always loved this boy whenever I have judged him, as much as he is not the ‘typical show dog’, what you see is what get and everything is what it should be and in the right place. Head is of correct proportion, with good bite, very good strong reach of neck to well laid back shoulders. Lovely depth of chest. Body In fantastic condition for his age. Well muscled. He still moves well around the ring with  reach and drive and minimum lift. True coming and going.

Class 1170 MPD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2647 LEE, Mrs Susannah & GREEN, Mr R K FAYKEN I AM SOUL. 7 month old, one to watch, very promising. Oozes quality, but still, what he should be which is puppy in maturity. Soft but alert expression, dark eyes, correct bite, up and tipped ears which just adds to his look. Lovely front and rear angulation, depth of chest and spring of rib is right for his age. Held a level topline on the move. Very true coming and going with minimal lift, side gate showed reach and drive. BPIB
2nd: 2664 POUPARD, Miss R BIRKCROSS BLACK RAVEN TAF. Just 6month old, full of character, lovely temperament. Very good size and proportions. Masculine head with dark eye. Lovely reach of neck to well placed shoulders. Well sprung ribs and depth of chest for age. Strong topline to sloping croup. Unsettled on the move but movement could still be assessed, good coming and going with good reach and drive. 

Class 1171 PD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2668 SCHEVENELS/DE CREE, Mr.,Mrs Isabel/Paul EYES OF THE WORLD VANILLA TWIST. 10 months old, pleasing head of correct proportions, dark eye, and well placed ears. Lovely reach of neck, well placed shoulders and turn of stifle. Would like a little bit more depth of chest and spring of rib but this will come with maturity. Moved well, and correct coming and going. 
2nd: 2677 THIENPONDT, Mrs. K. FROM BORDERS HOME JOVEN NOBLE. 10 months old, very close between 1st and 2nd just a little less settled on the move and did not quite have the same reach. Masculine head with pleasing expression. Good front and rear assembly, held top line on the move. Moved well with minimal lifting in the rear. 

Class 1172 JD (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2622 GREEN, Miss Collette Nicole & PATERSON, Mr Jamie ARRODARE FAMILY TRADITION JW. Almost 17 months old. The working relationship between handler and dog was lovely to watch. Handled so well. He is starting to come into his own, masculine head, correct bite, dark eye giving a soft but alert expression. Good reach of neck to well-placed shoulders, depth of chest and spring of rib very good for age. Moved well around the ring with minimal lift.
2nd: 2688 UGLOW, Mrs Margaret Anne CALEYKIZ DRIVE WITH POWER, 16 month old. This boy really challenged his handler today; however, she was able to get what was needed for me to be able to see him at his best. Pleasing head with correct proportions, good bite, dark eye. good front and rear angulation. A little unsettled on the move, however, could still see very good reach and drive. 

Class 1173 YD (3 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 2636 JASICA, Mrs Diana FREE SPIRIT BORDER'S UNITED FORCE COOPER. 19 months old. Good head with correct proportions, well placed ears, and dark eye. Needs to fill out a little in body, but this should come with age and maturity. Level topline which was held on the move. Correct front and rear angulation. moved well.

 

Class 1174 ND (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2632 JACKSON, Miss Lauren Louise MOPTOPIA'S URIZON (Imp DEU) Black and white tri, very good size with strong bone without being too much. Pleasing head, dark eye with alert expression. Lovely reach of neck to well-placed shoulders and turn of stifle. Level topline leading to sloping croup well placed tail of good length. In excellent body condition with good muscle. Moved with drive and extension. True coming and going.
2nd: 2677 THIENPONDT, Mrs. K. FROM BORDERS HOME JOVEN NOBLE. Another lovely dog, smaller in build to 1st. pleasing head of correct proportions, dark eye, correct bite. Good reach of neck and front and rear angulation. lovely depth of chest and spring of rib. Moved well. Presented in lovely condition.

2nd: 2695 WILDE, Mrs A J SHEMELLA SHEPHERDS MOON. Blue and white dog in lovely condition. Pleasing head with correct bite, dark eye, and dark pigmentation for colour. Good front and rear assembly, would like a little more turn of stifle. level topline to sloping croup. Moved well just not quite the drive of 1st.

Class 1176 MdLD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2659 OLIVER, Dr A J & SIMMONS, Mr P & SIMMONS, Mrs Y SIMMOVON SHOCKWAVE AT TAMBUZI JW. I judged this dog in BPIS last year, he has started to mature and come into his own. Very good size and proportions. masculine head with well placed ears. Correct front and rear assembly. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Level topline which was held on the move. Moved soundly with drive, true coming and going.
2nd: 2661 WOODROW, Ms Alison Jane ARRODARE IN THE ZONE. Very close between 1st and 2nd another lovely dog of decent size. Masculine head with pleasing, alert expression. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders and turn and stifle. presented in lovely condition. moved well with good front reach.

Class 1177 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2618 FAWCETT, Miss H LACEWAY DON'T STOP ME NOW. This dog has always caught my eye. another lovely male of very good size. Strong bone but not over done. Strong masculine head of correct proportions. Dark eye which gives a soft but alert expression. Excellent reach on reck to well placed shoulders. Body in excellent condition with lovely depth of chest and spring of rib. Level topline which was held on the move. Sloping croup to well place tail of good length. Pleasing turn of stifle. moved with extension and drive, true coming and going. RCC
2nd: 2687 KERR, Mrs H SHELTYSHAM SON OF SWAG FOR BORDERCLAN JW (AI) another dog that ticks the boxes, just not quite the size of 1st, masculine head with pleasing expression, dark eye, and correct bite. Lovely reach of neck to well-placed shoulders, good turn of stifle. In excellent condition, well-muscled. Moved well with minimal lift, would just like to see a little more drive.


Class 1178 OD (8 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2670 SCHEVENELS/DE CREE, Mr.,Mrs Isabel/Paul EYES OF THE WORLD SILVER AND GOLD. A dog that in my eyes is typical of what our breed should be, correct and good size with strong bone, turned out to perfection in brilliant condition. Strong masculine head, but not overdone. Correct bite, dark eye giving pleasing expression. Excellent, strong reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders. Level top line which was held on the move. Well turned stifle with strong well let down hocks. Moved with drive and extension, very balanced on the move and very true coming and going. Paw and foot perfect today with handler! CC and BOB was lovely to see him short listed in a very strong group.
2nd: 2617 FAWCETT, Miss H Sh Ch LACEWAY READY TO RUMBLE. Another lovely Dog that shows quality. In lovely condition and turned out to perfection. Strong masculine head of correct proportions. Lovely reach of neck. Correct front and rear angulation, good depth of chest and well sprung rib. Strong bone without being over done. Held topline on the move. Moved with reach and extension, minimal lift in the rear.

1st: 2691 WALTERS, Ms A Sh Ch GOYTRE DADDY'S SAUCIE GIRL JW. Stunning 9 year old. She certainly does not show her age. Very feminine, honest bitch of good size. Excellent reach of neck to well-placed shoulders. Body and coat in top condition with exceptionally good muscle tone. Strong topline leading to sloping croup to we place tail of good length. Lovely turn of stifle. moved soundly with excellent reach and drive and minimal lift in the rear. RCC, Best veteran, Veteran group 4
2nd: 2620 FAWCETT, Miss H Sh Ch LACEWAY ECHO FALLS JW. 8 ½ year old, another bitch in excellent condition. Feminine head of correct proportions, lovely dark eye, giving pleasing expression. Lovely  reach of neck and front and rear angulation, good spring of rib and depth of chest. Good bone without being overdone. Moved with reach and drive, true coming and going.

 

Class 1181 MPB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2626 GREEN, Mr R K & RATCLIFFE, Miss J FAYKEN I AM DESIRE. 7 month old, litter sister to the minor puppy dog winner, which was so easy to tell. Another lovely puppy that oozes quality. Very feminine head with a lovely dark eye, alert but soft expression. Very good reach of neck to well-placed shoulders and turn of stifle. she is what she should be for her age, raw but lots of promise. Moved well around the ring, with lovely front and rear action.

1st: 2679 SMIT-SIRAAL, Mrs. J.J. & SMIT, Miss S.C. & WILTSHIRE FROM BORDERS HOME JARDIN DE ROSAS. 10 months old pleasing feminine head, dark eye, and correct bite. Lovely reach of neck, very good front, and rear angulation. sloping croup to well place tail. Move very true coming and going.
2nd: 2627 MILHAM, Mrs Kathryn ELYSTARI THIS MUST BE LOVE. 11 months old feminine bitch with and alert expression. Correct head proportions and bite. Good reach of neck to well-placed shoulders. Coat and body in lovely condition. Very in tune with her handler, moved well around the ring.

1st: 2697 WILTSHIRE, Miss Donna & WILTSHIRE, Mrs Carol CALEYKIZ PASSION FOR POWER. 13 months old. very honest young bitch. Dark in markings, pleasing head of correct proportions, correct bite. Strong reach of neck to well placed shoulders, good depth of chest for age and spring of rib. Level topline, sloping croup to correct tail set. Lovely turn of stifle which allowed for her reach and drive in her movement. True coming and going. 
2nd: 2675 SHAHMATOVA, Dr M NASHDOM LOST IN YOUR EYES JW. 17 months old very feminine bitch with dark eye giving sweet expression. Very alert to handler. Very close between 1st and 2nd. Pleasing reach of neck, well placed shoulders and turn of stifle. Lovely top line which was held on the move. Moved true coming and going and with extension on side gate.

2nd: 2608 BARTON, Mrs Sophia TARANZA ENCHANTED ECLIPSE (AZ1). 18 months, very feminine head, dark eye, and erect ears. Good front and rear angulation, body in lovely condition. Level topline. Moved well not quite the reach of 1st, sound coming and going.

1st: 2612 CLOUGH, Mrs Yvonne SHEMELLA SPARKLING STAR AT BERNARK. Pleasing feminine head of correct proportions, correct bite. Good reach of neck, and front and rear construction. Good depth of chest. Level topline which was held on the move. Moved well around the ring. Well presented.
2nd: 2640 JOHNSON, Miss Jessica SHEMELLA MOONLIGHT GEM. Slightly heavier in build to 1st, but not overdone. Feminine head, dark eye, and correct bite. Good front and rear construction. Moved well, would like a little more drive.

Good spring of rib and depth of chest. Good rear angulation, sloping croup to well set tail of good length. Moved very well with reach, true coming and going.

Class 1187 MdLB (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2629 HAWKER, Mrs Valerie MOSHANTA MAGIC PENNY FOR TAYTINJA JW. I judged this bitch in BPIS last year, and oh how she has matured. Very feminine head of correct proportions, lovely dark eye which gives a soft expression. Excellent reach of neck to well placed shoulders. Level topline which was held on the move. Excellent turn of stifle, correct set of tail from sloping croup. Moved with drive and reach. True coming and going. Handled and turned out to perfection. Strong contender for the RCC.
2nd: 2648 LEE, Mrs Susannah & RATCLIFFE, Miss Joanne ARRODARE NO WONDER. Very close between 1 and 2. Another lovely bitch, feminine expression, dark eye, and correct bite. Very alert to handler. Lovely reach of neck, excellent front, and rear assembly. Body and coat in stunning condition. Topline held on the move. Moved with reach and drive. True coming and going.

1st: 2646 LEE, Miss B & RATCLIFFE, Miss J ARRODARE REBEL WITH A CAUSE JW. Very feminine bitch in lovely condition. Pleasing expression, head of correct proportions, dark eye, and correct bite. Good bone, excellent front, and rear construction. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Strong topline, to sloping croup. Moved well showing reach and drive.
2nd: 2641 KINTON, Mr D & KINTON, Mrs K.A. KINAWAY KISSES WITH FIRE (ai). Another bitch in lovely condition. Feminine expression, head of correct proportions, dark eye, and correct bite. Very good front and rear construction, level topline that was held on the move. Moved with well, true coming and going.

This is a bitch I have always loved and catches my eye every time I see her, and so pleased I got the chance to put my hands on her. Lovely sized bitch with strong bone without being too much. Feminine head of correct proportions, dark eye giving a soft but alert expression. Stunning reach of neck to well laid shoulders, depth of chest, spring of rib, length of loin is everything I like to see. Excellent turn of stifle to well let down hocks. Stunning topline which was held on the move. Her movement is effortless and graceful with reach and drive with minimal lift in the rear. Could watch her all day. BCC

Strong but feminine head, dark eye, correct bite. Lovely reach of neck to well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Excellent turn of stifle. strong topline which was held on the move, sloping croup to correct tail set and length. Moved with reach and drive and minimal lift in the rear.
