A numerically small but high quality entry with some classy Schnauzers of both sexes.  I was blessed with two excellent Stewards.

Class 709 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1474 BAWDEN, Mr Colin & BROWN, Mrs Susan Ch Khanate Gin Fizz Sh.CM VW.  Best Veteran. He provided a good start to this appointment.  Masculine with a strong, lengthy head, very neat ears, slightly arched neck.  Good depth of chest and very nicely balanced.  Free moving with some reach, perhaps just a tad close going away from me.  A strong contender for the CC.

Class 710 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 1483 LEWINGTON, Miss Lorraine Dark Design Leebren Grand Calvera.  A very typey black who I suspect is a really good prospect for the future.  Grand head, dark eyes, neat ears.  Good forehand with some depth of chest, typical topline and good length of rib.  Well angulated and moved out with some drive.

Class 711 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1490 MOORE, Mr Ian Odivane Brother In Arms.  A very good moving dog shown in a pleasing, harsh jacket.  Well-proportioned head with oval eyes, neat ears and a large nose pad. Good body and ribbing with typical topline.

Class 712 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1485 LOCKYER, Mrs Hilary Hilary Miccosukees Oklahoma.  I’m ashamed to say this but I can’t read my own writing for some of this report!  What I can read says; typey and well balanced.  Well ribbed and ribs extend well back to the loins. Well angulated and impressed on the move.  Harsh coat.

Class 713 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1478 CLARK, Mrs Barbara & CLARK, Mr Roy Miccosukees Ice King At Ilashi.  Reserve CC. Handsome with a good head and keen, alert expression.  Scored here as I made him just a touch shorter in loin than the 2nd.  Decent forehand with good strong legs and neat feet.  Good jacket and moved out well keeping a good outline at all times.
2nd: 1486 LOCKYER, Mrs Hilary Hilary Xavier Pepper Grand Calvera At Miccosukees.  Pleasing head, alert.  Good to handle as he has a moderately broad and deep chest and good spring of rib.  Moved well with particularly good, driving hind action.
3rd: 1492 TOMS, Ms J & TOMS, Miss L & DAWS, Mr K Minnienoom Navigator

Class 714 OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1489 MOORE, Mr Ian Ch Odivane A Sharp Dressed Man.  CC.  A real eye-catcher as he has a lovely outline which he retains at all times.  Good length of head with well carried, neat ears.  Dark eye and good nose pad. Large, strong jaw.  Clean neck and shoulders with good bone and decent feet.  Well ribbed with a strong, short loin.  Well angulated and in good muscular condition.  Excellent presentation.

Four very nice bitches.                                                                                                                                  1st: 1488 MOORE, Mr Ian Ch Odivane Sister Act.  CC & BOB.
