1st: 3362 JENNINGS, Mrs J MARVALE THE OPPOSITION - This 14-month-old male stood out for me today. Loved his overall balance, he is full of quality without exaggeration. Excellent proportions all through and excels in front construction. Handsome head, correct dark almond-shaped eyes with an intelligent expression, powerful jaws, and good dentition. Well-rounded ears of good size.  Viewed from the front he has ample forechest, protruding breastbone and legs underneath him - standing on excellent strong bone and broad, deep feet. Clean, long and muscular arched neck into well laid back shoulders, equal length and return of upper arm, and ideal elbow placement - well set onto his deep, robust ribcage of good length and width with keel extending well back giving an ideal underline and strong topline.  Short, strong loin and good tailset. Well-muscled rear, with well-turned stifle and good strong hocks.  He moved well in all directions with a long stride.  Pleased to award him Best Dog, Best of Breed, and also to watch him make the shortlist in a quality Hound Group - Congratulations!

2nd: 3369 TOMLINSON, Mrs S E Melisdax Memories of May - 17 months old bitch who presents a nice outline.  Pretty head, with dark eyes and intelligent expression, she scores in front assembly and ribbing, which extends well back and has a long keel and good gradual underline.  Ample forechest and nice bone for size. Strong neck, well-laid shoulders and good return of upper arm.  Well turned stifle and good strong hocks. Moved well with drive. 

3rd: 3358 BALFOUR, Mrs Joanna & BALFOUR, Mr Murray Clentry Mango Passion

1st: 3366 MORTON, Ms A & MORGAN, Mr J Lauralee Lannister at Cotherstone - Nicely balanced 2 yo male, good size shape and presents a lovely outline.  Handsome head of good equal proportions, appealing dark eyes, and good strong muzzle, nicely set ears. Muscular neck of good length, blending into a well-built front assembly with lovely lay of shoulder and equal return of upper arm. Full oval thorax, with strong forearms neatly fitted around it. Full, broad feet. Good depth of body, ribcage extends well back with a long keel giving good top and underlines. Strong loin and full rump, well muscled and nicely angulated to compliment his front, strong hocks. Moved freely with a long stride, driving from the rear. Reserve Best Dog.  

2nd: 3361 JENNINGS, Mrs J Clentry Sweet Melody - a well-named 2-year-old bitch who is very sweet.  Shown in excellent coat and condition, she has good balance throughout and a clean outline.  Long conical-shaped head, with strong jaws and close-fitting lips. Long, muscular neck with a lovely shoulder placement and good forechest. Good bone and feet.  Good body proportions and ground clearance, longer in loin than ideal but she holds her topline.  Full, plump rear with good tailset, excellent width of thigh and strong hocks. Moved well in all directions.

3rd: 3368 TOMLINSON, Mrs S E Bensarka Emerald Isle to Melisdax

Class 1432 SBD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3358 BALFOUR, Mrs Joanna & BALFOUR, Mr Murray Clentry Mango Passion - 20-month-old female with good overall balance.  I'd like to see her with a little less condition to see her at her best.  Long head, intelligent expression from her dark eyes, broad ears.  Long, strong neck into sloping shoulders elbows close to body with nice bone and feet.  Good length of body, long ribbing with good depth and strong loin.  Plump rear with good tailset and strong hocks. Moved well.  Best Special Beginner and pleased to see her awarded Sp Beg Group 2 - Congratulations!
