After a delayed start due to traffic and during some very noisy times in the venue, I had a lovely day of hands on some quality dogs. There’s some cracking youngsters coming through, so exciting times ahead. It’s nice to see that the size has come back down and there’s been some improvement to structure of the dogs. Its been lacking in some bone and substance and good rear angles that excelled in movement. On the whole a lovely entry of quality dogs, thank you. My two stewards worked hard and were lovely, keeping me up to speed with my classes and smooth running of my ring. My thanks to the committee for inviting me and thoroughly looking after me.
Class 612 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 1509 MITCHELL, Miss Emily Dachyclan Connolly At Bronia (imp Aus) What super B&T boy, everything to like from head to tail and in gleaming coat. Such positive gait movement, I’m told today was first show, he was an absolute natural. Such handsome gentle head and had good depth to his muzzle which is lacking in some. Correct bite. Ears set obliquely and with enough length. Fabulous front construction for his age, good reach of neck, well sprung ribbing carried back, all in proportion to his size. My only criticism is I’d like just a bit more turn to his stifle. However it didn’t restrict his movement. So easy to award CC and BOB, BPIB. He will have an excellent show career.
Class 613 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1505 LEWIS, Mr D M Trixhund Ten From Len JW Very handsome boy, likes to give kisses. Good head, and correct bite, enough depth to his muzzle. Correct ear set, enough reach of neck. Shoulders a little straight, just enough breastbone, well sprung ribbing, strong loin, enough hind angulation moved a little narrow. Pleasing to go over.
Class 614 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
At this point the venue became extremely noisy, which I feel impacted on some of the dogs performances.
1st: 1494 DOYLE, Miss Jean Ann Kindeace Light My Fire. Both these dogs are very similar, won on his maturity I preferred his front and bone substance. Not as settled on the move, I preferred his profile and when he settled on the move, he could cover the ground.
2nd: 1512 PIKE & CARTER, Mrs & Mrs Julie & Ashlie Breezelyn Love You Long Time again similar type, I’d of liked a little more to his bone substance as was lighter than winner, his front construction not as good. But had nice profile, was a little erratic on movement, after moving for 2nd time was more balanced.
Class 615 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1491 CROSS, Mr L J Breezelyn Long Way To Go To Loggeta Both dogs lovely to go over, however 1st had the edge, masculine head, good depth to his muzzle and correct bite, ears set correctly and enough length, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, enough depth to keel, ribbing sprung, strong loin. Rear quarters had enough angles moved out well. Just needs to stop sinking into his shoulders.
2nd: 1495 FRICKER, Mrs J Sundayshill Theodore For Borzdac. Very pleasing to go over, I preferred the front assembly on winner and winner had better rear action. Nice head, good depth to jawline and correct bite. Ears just long enough, enough reach of neck. Well sprung ribbing and strong loin.
Class 616 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1499 GEESON, Miss Elizabeth Ch Abydachs Return Of The Night Both 1st and 2nd are very similar, I preferred winners front and movement today. Worthy champion and had lovely ring presence when he moved. Masculine head with gentle expression. Correct bite, good jaw depth. Lovely condition, good front assembly, well sprung ribbing carried back into strong loin. Moved well covering the ground.
2nd: 1517 ROBERTS, Mr D Ch Swansford Prestonador was a little heavy as looked loaded over his shoulders, I preferred his rear to winner. However both dogs are worthy of their titles. Similar remarks apply just lost out to winner today.
3rd: 1524 WEDGE, Mr M Dolan Johnny Be Good
Class 618 SBD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1521 TURTON, Mrs Kellie Bay Of Biscoff Biscuit Of Damoradaxies. A very happy mischievous boy, completely full of himself. Once settled he had lovely profile. Movement was a little excited and not as steady, but it’s nice to see them having fun. I’m sure over time they’ll have a good future.
Class 619 VD/B (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1511 PIKE & CARTER, Mrs & Mrs Julie & Ashlie Zarcrest Angelina Jolie At Breezelyn best mover of this class, really excelled herself. Was at one with handler. Would like just a bit more turn to her stifle. Certainly didn’t hold her back as covered every inch of the ground with almost level topline.
2nd: 1488 CHAPMAN, Mrs M Melminds Maybelline I liked this one, wasn’t on form today, had better front assembly to winner, moving keeping her topline. Pleasure to go over.
