Class 1968 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: Fosh's Tesawin Eclipse, a very raw 6month black baby with his young handler today, both have so much to learn and they started the day off really well, alone in the class so no guidance from fellow exhibitors. The puppy is a nice size and has plenty of time on his side to develop in head, coat and body. Nice long tail which he held fairly low and helping him to balance while he was having fun with his pal. I didn't know it at the time but this puppy had one of the best scissor bites in the males, super big white teeth showed off by his lovely black pigment and once his head broadens his bottom jaw will strengthen more. Eyes dark and big black nose, coat and body as expected at this young age.

1st: Fosh's Tesawin Eclipse, as PD.
Class 1970 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 1
Class 1971 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0.
This was a difficult class for me as two very well presented black dogs, both in excellent coat and handled to advantage. 1st: HUMPHREYS' Fostebrie Chevalier Noir Sui Jun Ch, the younger of the two, but having a slightly stronger muzzle and darker eye gave him the edge. A good size male with ample coat, strong front with plenty of bone, neck and shoulders well angulated, length of back a touch on the long side. Moved well with nice strong rear movement, tail of good length and carried well
2nd: CURREN, Mrs D Stormymoon Odin ShCEx RL4ex a dog I've always admired, he is very eye-catching and in full bloom, well muscled and in fabulous condition, he is so focused on his owner/handler which is a bit distracting when assessing him as he is like a coiled spring. Shorter in the back and tended to roach slightly from withers on the stand. Holds his head high on the move giving him shorter reach. Tail of good length and carried well, neat parallel hocks with enough bone.
Class 1972 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 2
Two very different males again, both fawn this time, 1st & Res CC, FOSTER, Mrs C Ch Swiss Fostebrie Just Unique Jun Ch Lux OSW JW a good size youngster with the most wonderful dark mask and ear tips. Strong head with slightly shorter muzzle, kind expressive eyes, strong neck and level top line of good length, excellent bone, moved with smooth free flowing steps and good tail carriage which has a crook. Neat parallel hocks.
2nd: SNELLING, Mrs J Beaugency Bearly Bouzy, a very impressive large fully coated male, colour almost finished, super head with strength of skull, long neck and longer in the body than first, strong front, deep chested and well angulated rear, well carried tail, movement not as smooth as 1st, not helped by the sheer amount of coat which made him appear to have a lumbering roll.
Class 1973 GCD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: CRAKER, Mrs M Swiss Ch Fostebrie Just Exquisite of Crakebrie JW, a black litter brother to open winner, coat not at it's best, but is thick and strong. He is a nice size and has good length to back, nice front, neck appears a bit stuffy due to coat, overall a very nice type of black male who is balanced in head and body. Strong legs and nicely carried tail, movement wasn't as free as it could be due to handler having a movement problem.
Class 1974 VD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 0
Such a shame this class was mixed with Dogs and Bitches. 1st, Res CC & BV, LEDSHAM, Ms L Ch Touslefell Hopes and Dreams, a fantastic example of a mature Briard Bitch, a coat of golden splendor, which is of good texture and length without loosing her balance of body shape. Her movement in this class was flowing and with incredible reach, excellent tail carriage with desired crook. She is feminine but obviously on the larger scale, her head and body so well balanced, and only was it in the bitch challenge that her 11 years started to show and she had to give way to the youngster.
2nd & DCC, THORP, Mrs E Ch Charson Worth The Wait, a 7 year fully mature all male black, super head with wonderful dark eyes, a strong muzzle with a good strong under jaw, good neck and powerful front with strong bone, deep chest, level strong top line, good croup with good tail set and carriage, tail appears short but has a tight crook when measured reaches the hock. In this class he didn't flow as freely in movement, but in the dog challenge he showed his full potential and went up a gear he just strode out with such an easy long stride and covered the ground.
3rd: SMITH, Mrs Denise Jandade Baloo l'bear
Class 1975 PB (6 Entries) Abs: 3
1st & BP, FLETCHER & RUAL-KEOGH, Gilcoru Lavin d'brie with Arrowflec, a 9mth very well balanced fawn with plenty of coat of an attractive colour, plenty of size and bone, feminine head with lovely dark eyes, big strong teeth with good bite, good length to neck and body, well carried tail on the move and another with a crook. Once settled she showed off her free easy flowing movement with good front reach.
2nd: FIELDSEND, Starwell Heaven Kiss, a rich fawn baby of 10 mths, coat of a coarse texture, nice strong head with good mouth and eyes, strong muscled neck, shorter in back, deep chest with good bone. Moved a little erratic and tail of nice length but carried too high. 3rd: SMITH, Mrs Denise Jandade Precious Olive Noir
Class 1976 JB (4 Entries) Abs: 2
Two Black youngsters, both imported so I wasn't surprised to find they were of similar type, one from Finland and the other from Belgium, 1st: SNELLING, Mrs J ZHAMANEN BEZIQUE FOR BEAUGENCY slightly older and more volume of coat, very feminine all through, head could strengthen in skull, lovely strong bite and dark enough eyes, she appears a little apprehensive at times so not totally at ease on the stand, lovely neck and top line, free flowing on the move with well set and carried tail, needs to develop in chest to complete the picture.
2nd: WESCOTT-SMITH, Mrs T & SMITH, Mr S Vivienne De L'Arene Noire at Rozimba (Imp Bel) another nice size black and in good coat, with a slight wave, lovely strong feminine head, good bite and dark eyes, good neck and length to body with strong front, not as fluid on rear movement as first today, these two would benefit from being in an outside ring to see their full potential.
Class 1977 PGB (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: TRIMNELL, Miss G, KASTOBRI MAGICAL DREAMER, a nice size Black of pleasing shape, appears slightly steep in croup but nice tail set, a nice feminine head with good bite and pigment, enough neck and fair shoulders, width of chest in keeping with her size. Moved fairly well at times with good tail carriage.
2nd: FOSH, Mr T. Touslefell in a Flash, a more substantial fawn of clear colour, head shape in keeping with her build, good mouth and eyes dark enough, good neck and shoulders, level top line on the stand, moves with much enthusiasm and good front reach and carries her tail too high which distracts from her shape, she does have the most incredible coat texture of good length.
Class 1978 LB (5 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: HARTWELL, Mrs Pat Chavell Bonjour Maisie JW, a 2 year shaded fawn youngster who is a bit out of coat in volume and length just needed to complete the picture, she is not a big girl but she is very well made, her head is a lovely shape with strong muzzle, good bite and pigment, enough neck and good shoulders, nice front with parallel legs, bone is ample for her size, neat short hocks which she used on the move.
2nd: FOSTER, Mrs C Fostebrie Special Edition Swiss Jun Ch JW, a nice size of black with an abundance of wavy coat, pretty head with dark eye and good bite, nice neck and shoulders, a good front with strong bone, moved well with good tail carriage and presice rear movement, she is a touch soft in top line moreso on the stand.
3rd: LEDSHAM, Ms L Touslefell I Have A Dream, a grey who is worth a mention, she is a larger build, and so well made, very good front and head, neck, shoulders and top line, she just needs her coat to develop as it is very coarse and wirey, moved with incredible reach and enjoying her day out.
Class 1979 OB (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st:, CC & BOB, SNELLING, Mrs J Ch Beaugency Bellini, this 3 year old fawn is an attractive colour and enough coat of good quality, she is a lovely size and a balanced head with dark eyes and good bite, good neck and shoulders, she carries her top line well on the stand and move, plus a good tail carriage, nice bone and width for size, movement was free and effortless.
2nd: KELLETT, Mrs S & BURROW, Miss I S Fostebrie Exotique Noir of Kellbry JW Sh.CM, a very pretty black very similar in size to winner, her head is delightful with dark eyes and good mouth, she has a fabulous coat, lovely neck and shoulders, nice level top line, her rear movement wasn't as free as it could be and deviated her tail for balance,
3rd: COLEMAN, Miss L J Ch Jandade Shooting Star To Hartswelin JW, a 5 year old grey/black bitch on a taller and longer scale, she is totally different to the first two in this class, her side gait is fluent with good front and rear extension, a fabulous corse coat which needs a bit more body to complete the picture, she has a super neck and good level top line, carries her tail well.
