- Many thanks to the Society for the invite which was delayed due to COVID. I was delighted to receive one of the biggest entries of the Year and had been looking forward enormously to this Appointment.
- Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the state of the Breed, there is no longer the depth of quality there once was and it is increasingly difficult to find something that sets your heart racing as once was the case. Breeders need to take a long hard look at where the Breed is going. Sorry if this sounds negative but based on the entry these were my findings.
Class 42 MPD (12 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 157 HARRISON, MRS J M MILLPOINT ORIENT EXPRESS- Yes he is big enough, and I hope he has finished growing but today he took my eye for complete balance. He has a lovely head and eye clean neck and shoulders. Well made body with excellent top line and quarters. He was one of the best movers here today. RCC and Best Puppy.
2nd: 179 KOSTER-TINDALL, Mrs Lucy Harana Now You Has Jazz- B/T very smart youngster gorgeous head and expression, scores in front for bone and feet. Excellent shoulders and firm top line he looks great in profile. Would prefer a little more angulation behind but he is very sound on the move.

1st: 195 LONG, Mrs Lorraine & LONG, Miss Helen Arroline Kryptonite- Tri boy with a bright future, masculine head good eyes and ear placement. His body is balanced but as yet slightly long once he matures I am sure he will look the part. He scored on the move here and looked even better in the Challenge.
2nd: 128 BIDDLE, Mrs P J Theodore James Castellum Mare For Hearthfriend (NA- Another Tri and a size smaller than the first, not quite the overall balance, felt he needs more time to develop both in body and settle on the move.

1st: 228 RYAN, Mrs K F Ch Cavallibrook George Ezra JW - Blenheim with instant appeal, he isn’t a glamour boy but he is so well made. He has a lovely head and eye providing for the desired expression he uses his ears well and is clean through the neck with good shoulders and excellent bone and feet. His body is balanced and he has a good top line, at times he is a little proud of his tail but compared to his other qualities this is minor. He uses himself well on the move from well angulated quarters and looks great in profile. CC/ BOB
2nd: 239 SPALL, Mr M & CLARK, MR MATTHEW LLAPSTTAM'S SIR PRIZE- B/T looks great when stacked and handles well, he has gorgeous eyes and head is well balanced his front assembly is nicely angulated and equally so in the rear. He moved well in front but lacked a little precision going away.

She has so much to commend her lovely head and eye, first rate front and good body properties with so much balance. She moved well in this class and looked very happy. A different story in the CHallenge where she packed up completely and just didn’t want to be here. Such a shame.
