ENGLISH SETTER

Class 2636 PD (5 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 4789 HUGHES, Mr Graeme Mariglen Here To Eternity.This 9 month is typical in shape, starting with a well moulded head piece, well placed eye with gentle outlook. His clean neckline flows through well laid shoulders, good chest and well boned legs. His ribs are sprung to short filled loin, firm back to good tail set and carriage. Well, presented in grand coat. BPIB. 
2nd: 4790 JOHNSTONE, Mrs C & STOKES, Mr C & GILL, Mrs M Balvenie Loch Tuath. A lot of this dog and could be cleaner through throat. masculine with strong bone. A touch long in loin. Lovely coat and presentation, he was lively.

Class 2637 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4803 STEWART, Mrs H S & QUENBY, Professor S M Tattersett Stolen Silver. Typical male of good construction and balance. He pleased in head with kind eye, correct skull and ear set. Has clean elegance of neck and firm back line to tail set on and used right.  He stands on good legs and feet. Can finish well. 
2nd: 4808 VALLANCE, Ms M A Ennydloc Yorkshire Liaison To Rowanmyle. Not quite the body, ribs or finish of the winner. He has clean masculine head, very firm outline to good tail. he came mature on.

Class 2638 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4794 MCKIERNAN, Mr A M C K Bushbane Celtic Patriot. Quality masculine dog with nothing overdone. He impressed by his balance and absolute soundness. Super body and muscle topped by a coat of quality. He worked with his unobtrusive handler to advantage covering the ground with long stride and lashing tail and really deserved his rewards.    RES CC.
2nd: 4805 THOMSON, Mrs K A Maursett Morganite For Caspellwynd. He is all male and a fit muscled dog. Not ,just the forehand of the winner and today he paddled in front. He was turned out well and showed features of the breed. 

Class 2639 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4802 STEWART, Mrs H S & QUENBY, Professor S M Tattersett Golden Sunrise. This masculine dog of good size and shape, stood away in this class. He displayed quality and could be no other breed, so classic English. Very satisfying to go over with personality and soundness of gait.  Really liked him. 
2nd: 4807 VALLANCE, Ms M A Rowanmyle Was A Skellum. He has elegance and clean lines. I actually preferred the head and moulding of the winner. He presented a good overall picture standing and going round, working in unison with his handler. 
3rd: 4781 CARR, Mr Andrew & CARR, Mrs Lesley Balvenie Blue Lagoon

Class 2640 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4792 MCKIERNAN, Mr A M C K Ir Sh Ch Sh Ch Bushbane Celtic Rant.  Flashy, masculine and turned out in gleaming, full, silky coat. He has personality plus and great carriage on the move to display his attributes and good construction, which provided positive foot fall and economical ground cover.  CC & BOB. A shame he didn’t stay to show his worth in the big ring. 
2nd: 4800 SIMPSON, Mrs Lesley & SIMPSON, Mr Douglas Dalreavoch Northern Legend. This masculine soundly made dog is totally honest. He is so pleasing to go over with balance of angles both ends and has quality bone and well covered body with muscle. A very useful dog, just not the style or verve of the winner today.

1st: 4781 CARR, Mr Andrew & CARR, Mrs Lesley Balvenie Blue Lagoon. Clean, healthy and well turned out in good condition and coat. He is all male and held his shape going round. 
Class 2644 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4785 CORFIELD, Mrs Jackie & CORFIELD, Miss Vicki & SCHO Balvenie Loch Maree.11-month O/B. Lovely head, feminine, with attentive, kind expression from her dark eye. Has elegance of neck from lay of shoulder blade and neat elbow with good chest from return of upper arm. She stands on good legs and feet, has developed rib and short filled loin. Mentally not quite there yet, but should have promise for the future. 

Class 2645 JB (4 Entries) Abs: 0. A super class. 
1st: 4780 ALLEN, Mr Geoff & BOTT, Mr Paul & MORGAN, Mrs Ange Quensha Glitter and Gold. I know a lot of folk and many are aware that I know this handler well, I deliberated for a second only! however never having seen this young bitch before, she is just too good to miss. Feminine, super-size and shape and her rich O/B coat gleams with good health. Underneath her skeletal construction is accurate and her body is well covered, defining she outline. She has spirit and deportment and I was delighted to award her, her 1st CC.
2nd: 4813 WILLIAMS, Mrs P D A Bournehouse Eternal Love. This quality bitch presented a beautiful picture standing, but didn’t concentrate on the move in the class. However, she came into the challenge with a different attitude, settled to her handler and produced an exacting picture, good footfall with a super carriage and lashing tail to take the RES CC.  
3rd: 4795 PATON, Mr D & PATON, Mrs AAW Bournehouse Eternal Flame For Meadowfoot

Class 2646 PGB (5 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 4786 GARDNER, Miss T Mariglen Midnight Muse Of Danwish. This strong feminine bitch is true to type and sound both standing and moving. Presented in super coat and muscle, she has so many essentials of the breed and should easily finish as her quality is evident. She took it away on the move. lovely. 
2nd: 4810 WELSH, Mrs Jennifer Goldbirch Burning Desire. Stylish and nicely put together all through. She has femininity with pleasing head, clean neck through firm back to well set tail, not as forward as the winner. 
3rd: 4799 SEAMAN, Mrs B K Mariglen Villanelle

Class 2647 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0.2 gorgeous bitches , with two clever breeders at the helm.

1st: 6201 Mrs A GRIMSDELL Tattersett Dark Amber. This O/B is classic English, she is balanced and fit and so shapely. Clean head with good skull, ear placement and lovely eye set displaying confident kind expression. Elegance of neckline, angulation with depth, neat elbow and well sprung rib. Firm outline and has carriage on the move. Not quite the cheekiness of the youngsters. 
2nd: 4812 WILLIAMS, Mrs P D A Bournehouse Guilty Secret.A lovely tri with moulded head and sweetest outlook. Flows through her neck, firm backline to grand set on of tail. Under her full coat is a really well-made bitch, with a fit muscled body. Both bear the stamp of their affix’s and have lots of quality.

Class 2648 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0. 1st: 4796 PATON, Mr D & PATON, Mrs AAW Bournehouse Secret Destiny For Meadowfoot. This one has the breed essentials flowing all through her. She made me smile with her beautiful head piece, classic, feminine shape, soundness and qualities. Quietly handled to show just how good she is. She is sound and economical on the move. A touch more composed than the lively youngsters, not quite the verve, but she is lovely – who knows – another day?
2nd: 4793 MCKIERNAN, Mr A M C K Sh Ch Bushbane Centic Banter. Classy, stylish, full on working with handler and produced in excellent order and gleaming coat. 
3rd: 4783 CORFIELD, Mrs Jackie & CORFIELD, Miss Vicki Indibrooke Poachers Dream.
