BASSET GRIFFON VENDEEN (PETIT).

Overall ,the males were on better form ,than the bitches today. 

Class 1529 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3264 BROWN, Mrs Jane Ch Soletrader Valentino Rossi. A grand start ,a real quality dog ,sound ,excellent type and firm with shape. Super head ,nothing overdone, grand expression ,well placed ear from oval skull. He goes with positive foot placement and lovely disposition. BVIB.
2nd: 3279 REID, Mr & Mrs Philip & Dianne Ch Vilauddens Magnificent Mile (Imp NLD). Again 7 years and has good proportions. He is good to go over and presented in fit condition and well prepared rough coat. He has attitude, perhaps showing his age a touch more than winner. 

Class 1531 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3281 REID, Mr & Mrs Philip & Dianne Maudaxi Fonzie Foxtrot. 11 month lovely ype and balance to this happy fit dog. He has much appeal to go over, smart head, length to clean neck ,decent shoulders and corresponding hind angulation.he has neat elbow and good bone a ribbing to muscular loi. Tail on top used well .Decent hard coat.  BPIB.

Class 1532 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0. What a smart pair .
1st: 3282 ROBERTSON, Miss E & ROBERTSON, Mrs Sara & ROBERTSO SOLETRADER HAPPY AS LARRY.You read the standard and look at this dog, job done! He has quality ,type and is in excellent body and rough ,well turned out coat. Works with handler to do his job.
2nd: 3266 BROWN, Mrs Jane Soletrader Fabioquartaro. Well built, masculine with great personality. Grand head ,loads of quality and presented in fit hard condition. Moves with accuracy and style. These  boys will fight it out and push the older ones on many occasions. 

Class 1533 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3271 DANE, Mr Paul Spencer & GUERNARI, Ms Lisa Cynetkoy's Tinker Tailor. Still only a youngster and the best is yet to come. Does his job ,on the move soundly and has such a pleasing personality . He is not finished in body and I would prefer a touch shorter loin , but a grand dog in many departments. 

Class 1534 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3265 BROWN, Mrs Jane Callydena Dougal McLennan. Well turned out with rough coat, clean and healthy .He is all hound with pleasing head and lovely expression . in good condition ,elbows could be neater . Goes nicely. 
2nd: 3283 TOWNSEND, Mrs Rita Afterglow Curtain Call Avec Roxastan. Very masculine and he presents a lovely outline .Clean skull, low ear and decent stop, with strength in foreface. He has well sprung ribs and decent depth to from elbow and foot. A touch long cast. Super presentation.

1st: 3267 CADMORE, Mrs Elizabeth & HAYES, Ms Janice & MOORE, Ch & Am Ch M AND M'S STELLAR MAYHEM AND MADNESS (I. . He did his job, totally unaffected by the head of this day. Has super lines appealed all through. A super dog ,today he stool the breed ,performing out of his skin.  CC,BOB.
2nd: 3272 LEWIN, Mr M G Ch Soletrader Special Effect for Vynesbrook JW. I have judged this dog as a puppy and ,I loved him then and still do. He could have pipped the winner ,on a different day as he is just gorgeous to go over ,but today the humidity got to him .However he well deserved the RES CC. super dog of quality

1st: 3275 MCEWAN, Mrs Ceri Ch & Ir Ch Maudaxi Coco Chewnel from Marunnel Ir J.11 years ,not showing her age ,pleased in head and white teeth. She has shape and balance .Lovely body proportions. Even in this heat ,she was off, on the move with good personality. 

Class 1539 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3280 REID, Mr & Mrs Philip & Dianne Maudaxi Joanie Loves Chacha. A little charmer  of 11 months. She just presented a more balanced picture over 2nd. at the moment. I the challenge ,she really went for it showing how well constructed she is ,with personality plus to take the RES CC. However her brother has the edge in maturity and coat to snatch best puppy from her. 
2nd: 3284 TOWNSEND, Mrs Rita Overbecks Esme Shelby at Roxastan. Immaculate presentation and super harsh topcoat with undercoat. She is a typical shape and size, just needs to fill and mature to finish, as it all there. Moved on nicely, just not quite the verve of the winner.

Class 1540 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3268 COOPER, Miss C L & CADMORE, Mrs E Soletrader Missy Elliott. Well she stood away here in the bitches today. The complete picture in construction outline and just in prefect body, balance and muscle. Has the character and positive movement to step up  and the temperament to display a super shape reflecting the breed. Another from these clever breeders, that will be out there, asking for top honours. CC
2nd: 3277 MOORE, Mrs Emma Probert Calypso. Not jst as forward or total balance of the winner. She has decent body and is muscular throughout. Not just the shoulders that makes for the neat elbow. Very feminine.

Class 1541 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3285 WOOD, Mr & Mrs Stephen & Lynn Beaujons Velvet. Sweet bitch with pleasing head and personality. Worked with handler well and produced purposeful movement .A little plump today which rather spoilt her outline. 
2nd: 3263 BISHOP, Mrs Jan Jamar Miss Skylar. This one could afford to carry a little more weight and ,think the heat had got to her as she really was not producing the stride in the ring today. 


Class 1542 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3286 WOOD, Mr & Mrs Stephen & Lynn Beaujons Leading Lady JW. This 20 month was in grand undercoat and rough topcoat. She please in head shape with strong dry muzzle. Has big ribs and correct croup. Moved ok. 
2nd: 3262 BISHOP, Mrs Jan Jamar Ina The Countessa.Rather long and lean. She is all hound and presents a balance and shape to head with low leathers. 
3rd: 3270 CROWE, Miss M Caldewriver Madame Hattie At Elsfie

1st: 3274 MCEWAN, Mrs Ceri Marunnel Miss Adelaide.6 years with a lovely character ,that made me smile. She is good for size and was presented in well turned out coat. Just a touch heavy in body at this time Worked the ring with intention on the move.
