Thank you to Richmond Championship Show committee for affording me the honour of judging this super terrier puppy group. I was delighted with the selection of dogs put through by the breed judges.

1st : 237 CRAWLEY, Mrs L A & BALDWIN, MRS Y Ragus Punch Bowl - NORWICH TERRIER – Dog
Absolutely cracking Norwich puppy, at just 10 months of age he commands the ring. So very smart and quality in abundance. When stood his outline is compact and well balanced. His head is masculine, with good width to the backskull, well placed erect ears, and a lovely dark oval eye to give a delightful and alert expression. Good length of neck flowing seamlessly into a short firm level topline. Well developed through the body, with a lovely spring to the ribcage. Putting his strong hindquarters to good use to drive around the ring, with precise and positive footfall.  Beautifully presented and in full coat. Delighted to hear that he had also won BOB and was shortlisted in the adult group.

2nd : 194 TATE, Mrs K & NAGRECHA, Mr Aaron Chandlimore Camp It Up With Jaeva - JACK RUSSELL TERRIER – Bitch
Most taken with this 9 month old JRT bitch, she is beautifully balanced in her outline when stood, with the correct body proportions. She has a super outgoing temperament and so full of character. She has an appealing head, with a flat back skull, and strength to the foreface, those dark almond eyes not missing a thing to give a cheeky expression. Well developed through the body, and able to span her. Holding a firm level topline both stood and on the move.  Moved with enthusiasm and pizzazz to show good drive and a positive action

3rd : 407 BRITTEN, Mrs D Krisma Fine Fettle - WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER – Dog
Very smart 10 month old WHWT dog puppy, who presents himself with confidence and never stopped showing. He has a shapely outline and combines well boned limbs, substance with a touch of elegance. Pleasing head, slightly domed skull, neat small ears, and dark keen expression. Good length of neck flowing into a well held topline, good ribcage to give a compact outline. Tidy and positive mover whilst holding his outline. Well presented in good coat

4th : 296 LUI, Mrs Laura Norkett EblanaHalls Kiss Curl - SOFT-COATED WHEATEN TERRIER - Bitch 
So much to admire with this 9 month old SCWT bitch, she presents a well balance picture when stood. Liked her overall size, substance, and femininity. She is full of quality and character. Very pretty bitch with a lovely head, showing the correct planes, strength to the foreface, dark eyes and well pigmented rims, giving her hint of naughtiness. She is well developed in the body, brisket well let down with a nice spring to the ribcage, short coupled to give a compact outline, with a level back. Well bent stifles which she put to good use to drive around the ring. Presented in a soft coat of good colour.
