GREENLAND DOG
Firstly I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their friendly, well run show and also to my two efficient ring stewards for ensuring everything ran so smoothly. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for bringing their quality dogs under me. All the dogs were well presented and had superb temperaments.
Junior Dog or Bitch Class (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st. Miss Alanna J BLANEY - FENRIRKIN KEEPING IT LOKI - 8 month grey and white dog. This boy is at the puppy stage of maturity but still has good attributes of a good honest freighting dog. Good head, bite and eye set with kind expression. Correct feet and ample bone and tail set. Very much still a baby but time will improve his overall profile. Movement was a little loose today but this should tighten up with age. Best Puppy and Reserve Best Dog
Open Dog or Bitch Class – 3 (0 Abs)
1st. Miss A. J. BLANEY - SWISS / IR CH SUNA-SANIK'S FREIDIGE ALICE AV FENRIRKIN (IMP NOR) - 5 year old grey and white bitch. Loved this girl, who commanded my attention as she moved round the ring. Lovely mature feminine head with correct proportions and good eye shape, ear set and bite. Well balanced profile and well muscled. Good reach of gait both in forequarters and rear, with correct angulation and good foot fall. Won her class overall on her movement. Delighted to have awarded her Best Bitch and Best of Breed
2nd. Miss A. J. BLANEY - INT / ESP CH FENRIRKIN CAN’T BE LATE SHCEX (SUL-JCH) – 3 year old red and white bitch. Another quality bitch, who I found out later was the daughter to my winner. Nice feminine head of correct proportions and bite. Had a very mischievous expression, which made me smile. Left her coat at home today but what was present was of the correct coat texture. Good tail set with good size feet and well off for bone. Well balanced and muscled with good angulations front and back, who moved with plenty of drive Pushed hard for top place but it came down to splitting hairs and I am sure both girls would change places on another day. Reserve Best Bitch.
3rd. Miss A. J. BLANEY – SWISS / ESP / IR / INT CH SUNA-SANIK'S ELECTRIC NOAH OF FENRIRKIN (IMP NOR) - 5 year old black and white mature dog. Super masculine head with good broad wedge shape and proportions. Correct coat texture and tail set. Good depth of chest, strong neck and well sprung ribs. Well balanced profile. Good size feet and plenty of bone. Gave his handler a hard time when moving but when he settled he moved with plenty of drive and good foot fall. Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex.
