14 mths.  Masculine dog of average height, standing square.  Good head: skull width just about right with moderate stop, good chiselling and good parallel planes.  Ears just a touch wide.  Dark almond eye and obliquely set giving an enquiring look.  Good mask, scissor bite.  Coat a good colour with a good overlay which many are lacking these days.  Good level topline hocks well let down and standing parallel from behind. Tail a little short.   Nice brisk movement.

2nd: 3039 GRINHAM, Mr And Mrs Stephen Foryd Captain Soul***

21 mths.  Of good height, looking a little long; I would just like a bit more substance but that may come as he matures.   Nice alert expression, good chiselling, good parallel planes.  Ears correct and used well.  Good mask, pincer bite.  Coat a good red colour with slight overlay, tight feet, tail to hock.  Nice brisk movement with correct tail carriage.

2 yrs 11 mths, quite a tall dog with nice head, good ear set and a dark almond-shaped eye obliquely set. Medium-size ears, just a touch wide. Good mask, scissor bite, good reach of neck.  Coat a good colour but lacking some overlay.  Level topline, nice tight feet, tail to hock, looked good on the move.

2nd: 3032 BRASON, Mrs Y J Ch Xilly's Mawerick

6 yrs, a mature dog, not a tall dog.  Skull a touch broad, but everything else fits, nice alert expression with a nice dark eye of correct set and shape, sufficient chiselling, and good parallel planes.  Pincer bite.  Coat a good colour with a good overlay.  Good tight feet and a nice brisk movement.

2 yrs 11 mths, lovely feminine bitch, balanced throughout.  Average height, lovely head with dark almond eyes giving an enquiring look and that all-important moderate stop.  Medium-sized ears that she used well.  Good mask to eye, scissor bite.  Coat a good colour, level topline and a nice brisk movement maintaining her topline on the move, correct tail carriage.  Good presence in the ring.

2nd: 3043 MACKIE, Miss Nicola E & LESTER, MRS LINDA & SMITH, Ch Foryd Denali At Hawksflight***

2 yrs 11 mths, litter sister to above and not much between the two but I just preferred the head of her sister.   Average height, nice head a touch finer than above, good dark eye giving an alert expression, good moderate stop.  Ears high set and used well.  Good mask to eye, good reach of neck.  Coat of good colour with a slight overlay.  Level topline and well-muscled.  Nice brisk movement with correct tail carriage.
