CRITIQUE FOR BOXER BITCHES.

My thanks to the Officers & Committee for the invitation to judge the bitches at this well organised friendly show, also my appreciation to my stewards Sarah Portlock & Wayne Patterson for their hard work in keeping the proceedings running smoothly and to you the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of judging your beautiful boxers a quality entry the largest in the working group.We were blessed with a glorious sunny day & an excellent ring for movement.

I was looking for a balanced outline with good angulations well boned without exaggeration well toned muscle strength in the hind quarters allowing for good ground coverage on the move. A proportioned elegant head with dark correct eyes correct bite soft expression & the inevitable extrovert temperament … I was delighted to see promising youngsters in the classes & I was not disappointed  with hands on  assessment and  placings were close on decisions & I thank the exhibitors for their sportsmanship.

A real eye-catching baby in this class of very promising puppies, at just 6 months making her debut. Tight brindle /white jacket square in outline with well boned limbs on tight feet, short coupled level topline correct tail set well angled rear assembly elegant arched neck into good shoulders .Delightful to look at face on her head is correct in proportion at this stage balanced clean skull with deep stop & good rise well padded in muzzle lovely dark “ mischievous “ eyes & expression excels in mouth with tight straight wide bite ….lots to admire. A little playful on the move but covered the ground true showing off her elegant outline ….promising baby.

Attractive headpiece of correct balance padded muzzle evident chin wide set jaw good bite & correct lip placement broad nose with wide nostrils.Dark well shaped eyes moved with drive holding her shape from all angles.

A most  stylish  dark brindle/white puppy she has clean head correct rise of skull defined dark eyes of correct size soft thin well set ears cheeky expression. Good lip placement over a wide set jaw with straight teeth. Elegant & free holding her shape with an ease of movement that won her the class being true going away & forward.She has a true boxer outline standing square on well boned limbs soft slope to her topline with good tail carriage clean underline, good definition to her well muscled quarters.

Feminine balanced head lovely rise in skull naughty dark eyes of good shape good straight bite on wide jaw moved around the ring free style ….she will have her day I am sure

More substantial than the class winner but having similar attributes clean feminine in head with dark correct shaped eye good depth in muzzle with evident chin wide in underjaw with well set straight teeth.Well boned straight limbs lovely reach of neck into shoulder well sprung in rib. Good turn to stifle straight hocks would have preferred better muscle definition in hind quarters to complete the picture & complement  her movement

Very smart 2 year old in her gorgeous tight red jacket presented in fabulous condition she has a lovely headpiece with defined dark mask with beautiful dark well shaped eyes stunning expression correct muzzle to rise of skull ratios well padded muzzle & one of the best mouths for width & size of teeth straight jaw with good chin lovely big nose wide nostrils, In profile good length & well arched neck into well placed shoulders evident forechest well off for strong round bone straight forearms tight feet short level topline correct in tail set, ample defined muscle through out her hind quarters affording her power & strength to motor around the ring effortlessly.

Shorlisted in the Challenge where  her & handler pulled it all together & I was delighted to award the RCC …she’s lovely

I don’t think I can add to the accolades that this stunning example of a boxer has already received. I was honoured to have her here today having admired her since first seeing her as a minor puppy.

She stood alone in her class today & she is mesmerising to go over In profile she is picture perfect feminine elegant without any exaggeration Crisp clean outline a glorious tight polished dark brindle jacket that accentuates her natural white accents her elegant arched  neck into correct lay of shoulder short strong level topline short coupled strength & tone in her correctly balanced & angulated rear quarters with evident upper & lower thigh definition retaining all of her femininity but affording her the amazing free flowing movement around the ring true from all aspects.

She has the loveliest head balanced well padded muzzle correct muzzle to rise ratio velvet soft wide placed ears & the darkest deepest well shaped eyes that are looking at you in the kindest most intelligent manner. Evident chin wide straight jawline with big teeth & good canines tight bite. She stands on round boned straight limbs ending in well arched tight feet such a happy disposition constantly wagging her well set tail. She is on her toes all of the time at one with her gifted owner.

Well arched neck into good shoulders & withers clean underline & tight tuck up well defined rear assembly.Well boned straight limbs tight well arched feet.
