                                       Norwegian Buhund report

PD(1)  1st & BP Dosson's Leggatts Part Time Lover rather a shapely wheaten in excellent coat.  I liked his head and that almost naughty expression from such dark, well shaped eyes, sufficient neck, nicely ribbed and well set and carried tail. His length/height balance appeals and he was in excellent coat. His side action showed reach and drive .  His only drawback was his reluctance to have his mouth examined so training class please!

PGD(2)  1st Butterworth's Kligenthal Einar lovely head, so alive in expression and so attentive to his handler. At the  top end of the height scale for me, otherwise a good example of the breed. Nicely balanced length/height proportions, ample neck and well set and carried tail. Just needs ring training to get the best out of him.  2nd Kent & Cobb's Leggatts Dakota At Knytshall this charmingly headed little chap is just too light framed for me.  I would like a stronger head for his sex and whilst he was well coated and attentive I would just have like him to that shade bigger all over.  Sound enough moving but lacked the rear drive of the winner.

OD(3)  1st CC & BOB Shorer-Wheeler's Ch Koromandel Tusen Talk JW a class item and such a worthy titleholder. I would not want him any taller but he has that air of class and style I love.  He enters the ring, his eyes never leave his handlers face,  his ears erect, jacket gleaming, tail bang on top and his four feet perfectly placed to enhance his shape. He moved around the ring with reach and rive and was a delight to judge.  2nd & RCC Dosson's Kligenthal Bran Mak Morn   a tad smaller at the withers than the winner but he has a delightful head and expression, is nicely ribbed, good shoulders and forechest, sufficient upper thigh width and excellent feet.  A credit in coat he moved out soundly and I hope he goes on to his crown.3rd Deuchar's Ch Rikarlo Gable JW

PB(1)  1st Fleming's Leggatts Isn't She Lovely of Ailort this charming little black number is just 9 months old and I hope she grows on to be taller. Loved her head balance, lovely eyes and a charming expression. The neatest of ears, ample neck and nicely ribbed. She covered the ground well on the move .  Her coat shone with well being and it will be interesting to see how she matures.

OB(2)  1st & Res CC Patrick & Ashman's Ch Tapui Starla such a worthy titleholder.  Has that air of quality and has much appeal on the stack.  Delightfully feminine head and expression, soft but knowing! Excellent length/height proportions, in excellent coat and she used those well angulated hindquarters to good use as she circled the ring. Unlucky to meet the VB in such dazzling form. 2nd Shorer-Wheeler's Sturtmoors Ffascination With Koromandel another title bound I am sure.  So much to like, correct size, lovely length/height proportions, a most delightful expression and so well ribbed and coated. I felt the winner had the edge in hock action but they could swap places any time.

VB(1)  1st & BCC Butterworth's Ch Koromandel Gild The Lily what a charmer!!  Just oozes class and has that air of self importance which Champions seem to have.  Ultra feminine in head and an expression which bowled me over, lovely height/length ratios, in sparkling coat and ultra sound on the move. A joy to judge and one for the memory book.
