I would like to thank the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of judging their dogs at this my first CC appointment. I was verry pleased to see my BOB take Gp3 in the Terrier Group. 

All dogs were in good condition and those in show trim were presented well 

Junior Dog (3, 2 abs.)

1st Clayton’s Nisyros Rigatoni For Lokilake Young dog of 3 months who shows promise. A liitle unsettled on the move, however I am sure he will settle down. Very good head of good proportions. Strong bite  and large teeth.  Lovely reach of neck flowing into good shoulder placement. Well ribbed and carried his topline well.

2nd Gill’s Oregill Take My Breath Away at Wychvalley.  Another young dog who was Very nice, correctly sized bitch, with well muscled and proportioned body. Feminine head of correct proportions with flat skull and well shaped ears. Good dark eye with a lovely expression. Good jaws and dentition. Excellent forehand and body shape. Muscular thighs, low set hocks and good tail set. A credit to her owner.

sympathetically handled and well presented. Dog of slightly different type to winner. Needs to settle. Well bodied for age with nice head, ears need to settle. Needs time. 

Open Dog (6, 2 abs.)

1st, DCC BOB Gp 3 Averis’ Saredon Revere  Very smart dog of 2 years, who came into the ring with an air of, ‘look at me not the others’. Well presented and on tip toe. Good head of correct proportions. Flat skull with good earset. Lovely expression. Powerful jaw with strong dentition. Lovely clean slightly arched neck with well laid back shoulders. Good body shape and bone. Good rear angulation with good muscle tone.

2nd  RDCC  Connell’s Sonorra Spellbinding (A.I.) Slightly larger than 1st but still well within standard. Pleasing head of good proportion with a flat skull, good earset and expression. Strong jaw with correct bite and powerful teeth.good length of neck going into lovely forehand. Harsh jacket that was well maintained, as one would expect from this kennel. Excellent muscle tone throughout with correct bend of stifle Moved well,

3rd De Munter-Uiterwijk’s Sir Digby Van Foliny Home (ATC ATCAW02102BE)

Post Grad bitch (1, 0 abs)

1st  BCC Clayton’s Lokilake Rainbow Red. Bitch 2 year old, well put together. Very nice, correctly sized bitch, with well muscled and proportioned body. Feminine head of correct proportions with flat skull and well shaped ears. Good dark eye with a lovely expression. Good jaws and dentition. Excellent forehand and body shape. Muscular thighs, low set hocks and good tail set. A credit to her owner.
