I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge this wonderful breed, it is some years since my last appointment and was excited to see how the breed has progressed, however I was not a fan of the amount of exhibits, more male than female who had a very high gay tail carriage, it does not enhance the overall look of the dog and a couple lost out on a higher place because of it , but what really surprised me was the amount of off set crowns I saw, the ridge is the escutcheon of the breed and  as such should be correct ie crowns opposite each other. Most had a correct bite. Otherwise I was happy with how the breed as a whole is progressing with many dogs vying for top spots who made for some difficult choices, I am happy with all my principle winners and was elated to see my BOB take BIS 4.

1st: 1195 JOLLY, Mrs Nicola J Priorpark William Wallace For Clanbruachan, 8 mths old light wheaten, pleasing overall outline, wouldnt want him to grow on too much more masculine head with correct ear placement and dark eye, clean neck , correct ridge, plenty bone and tight feet, tail carried out straight.
2nd: 1235 STRAUJA, Miss Monika & PRICE, Mr Henry Chioke For Zeri By Ridgelove, slightly lighter in frame all over but still well put together, good shaped head, dark eye and muzzle, ears need to settle a little, clean lines with correct ridge, good topline, good angulation in rear and moved straight but would like tail carried a little lower

1st: 1249 ZHAO, Mr Aibing Vkloof Duke Lambo Galardo, darker red wheaten in colour a big upstanding dog, who hopefully will not grow on much more, masculine head with lovely dark eye and proud expression, ears carried close to head, a clean shoulder led to legs with plenty bone and tight feet. Correct ridge well angulated in rear with well let down hock, striding out on the move, tail carried ok.

2nd: 1227 RAYMOND, Mrs Norah Denise Sofala Raffaello (ai), similar in type to winner, just preferd topline to 1, clean masculine head with dark eye, good reach of neck, deep chest, plenty bone and tight feet, tail carried correctly on the free striding move

1st: 1185 DIGBY, Miss Joanne Sonnypride Cookies An Cream Of Inbajsha, mid red wheaten colour with self colour  to head which was of lovely proportions alert ear carriage dark eye, kind expression, clean over shoulder sporting nice camouflage markings, good depth to chest  and good in loin, good feet and well angulated fore and aft,good tail carriage on this long striding dog who I considered for rcc but he just needs to mature out a little
2nd: 1167 CAHANE, Mrs Miranda Kiromol Baron Zuko, another mid wheaten coloured dog , with good masculine  head shape, a touch stuffy in the shoulder, crowns slightly out but well off in bone and tight feet tail carried ok on good moving stride

1st: 1170 CATHARELL, Mrs Caroline & CATHARELL, Miss Megan Asharaa's Perfect Match With Faahac JW, dark liver coloured dog with pleasing overall outline  masculine shape to head well shaped close fitting ears, well defined stop, deep amber eye colour, clean neck an shoulder, plenty bone and tight feet, well off in depth of chest and length of loin, correct ridge on good topline leading to well let down hocks, free and active on the move, ok on tail carriage, pleased to give him RCC, an award which I was later informed I had also awarded to his sire.
2nd: 1184 DAWSON, Mrs Katie & DAWSON, Mr Gareth Priorpark Problem Solved, a close decision here with winner of class, lovely head planes, kind expression, eye colour ok, mid red wheaten in colour, correct ridge, a touch heavy in shoulder but with plenty depth to chest, good tuck up, nice turn of stifle, free active mover with level tail carriage

1st: 1229 RHODES, Mrs Kerry Ch Priorpark You Coda Be Mine Of Metalrock JW, eyecatching overall outline  to this light mid red wheaten coloured dog, a lovely masculine shape to head with good expressive ears and twinkle to the eye, close fitting lips, clean neck and shoulder sporting nice camouflage marks, well off for bone tight feet, correct ridge on nice topline leading to well angulated rear assembly, active purposeful drive on the move with good tail carriage  handled in the most expert fashion ,pleased to award him DCC and BOB and over the moon that he went on to take BIS 4.
2nd: 1183 DAVIES, Miss K J Gunthwaites Fancy Man JW, slightly larger all over than winner, another good dark red wheaten colour, masculine in head, good ear and eye but sporting a touch of dew lap to lip, clean over shoulder and correct in ridge , well off for bone with nice tight feet,, free and active movement with good tail carriage

2nd: 1182 DAVIES, Miss K J Ch Gunthwaite Papa Dont Preach, another nice 7yr old with  good head and dark eye, nice clean shoulder and tight feet, correct ridge, plenty depth to chest, tail carried well on the move, could change places with winner on another day

2nd: 1203 MILLS, Mrs Lisa & MILLS, MISS SHANNON & MILLS, MR Priorpark Pride And Joy To Nzuri, another lovely pup a shade lighter in colour but again feminine in head with lovely dark eye  and melting expression, everything in the right place as regards bone and angulation, correct ridge, just needs to settle a little on the move and she can swap placings with winner

2nd: 1198 LARKIN, Mrs J E Asharaa's Hey There Georgy Girl, another very promising puppy slightly darker in colour but still good camouflage markings, feminine head and dark eye, just prefered expression on winner, clean down neck and shoulder, plenty depth to chest, correct ridge, nice turn of stifle and free moving with good tail carriage
