Special Beginners group,Hounds.

Group 1 ; Tanner Baldwins BARFORDRIDGE ZITA, 3 yrs mature Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch ,lovely rich colour ,pleasing head & eye, well balanced with good topline, sound front with good bone & substance ,moved powerfully ,well muscled. Handled sympathetically.

Group 2 ; Taylors BRIBIBA`S MIDNIGHT SPECIAL 19 months black Irish Wolfhound bitch, at first my winner but outmoved today by above. She has good style & type ,well constructed with feminine head & dark eye. Well bodied ,good length of ribbing & level topline. Needs to settle in front on the move but a nice promising youngster.

Group 3 ; Maclean`s ORGE ET MALT D`ESCALGRAIN {imp FRA} Mature 5 yrs Deerhound bitch in grand muscular condition, pretty head & dark eye, correct ears ,good outline & front & hind co-ordination, just lacked the confidence on the move.

Group 4; Langcake`& Short`s SOUTHPORT NORMANDIA AT LANGSHOR {imp Prt} 16 mths red Greyhound bitch,one I have judged recently ,lovely head & dark eye, well bodied with good depth & length ,looked good standing ,just needs to settle in front movement. Well handled.
