DARLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW.  FOXHOUNDS. 16TH SEPTEMBER 2023. JUDGE VIVIEN PHILLIPS.

I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entry and their patience as they had a long wait. I applaud their enthusiasm for their breed and the Hounds were all of good  type and  sound on the move.  

Puppy Dog or Bitch.  (1 Entries) Abs: 0  1st: Waugh’s  Lady Roxburgh of Liscia. Sweet youngster. With  a good  shaped  balanced head  .correct  shape to eyes. Alert Expression.   Long neck Well filled in front. Deep ribbing  and straight  legs and strong pasterns. . Moved very well with  light strides. Tail carried high.  Best Puppy and Reserve Best Bitch.:

Junior Dog or Bitch  (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st:  Lady Roxburgh of Liscia

Post Graduate Dog or Bitch  (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st:  Waugh’s Feeling  Fragile on Friday at Liscia 3 year old upstanding bitch with a good shaped  head and eye. Well boned legs.  Slightly upright in shoulder so came towards me a bit   loose in elbow. She has a very good outline and deep forechest. Correctly angulated hindquarters which she  used very well.. Good easy stride on the move.  Best Bitch.:

Open Dog or Bitch  (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 2871  Griffiths’ Dazzleby Chorister. This 8 year old has a very good head and eye. Strongly ribbed with correct length  to  body . Well angulated parallel  hindquarters. When moving you  could see him doing a day’s work.  Best Dog. BOB and Best Veteran.  2nd:  Waugh’s  Feeling fragile on Friday at Liscia
