Some good quality hounds here today. Temperaments were lovely. Many thanks to my two excellent stewards, Julie Harrison and Barry Merchant.

 

Class 1853 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5195 NORMAN, Miss Claire Ch Silvae Klansman. Masculine and workmanlike and shown in good muscular condition which was reflected in his good movement with some drive.  Well proportioned head with good furnishings.  Clean neck and shoulders.  Good oval chest and prominent breastbone.  Well ribbed with good muscle tone over the loin. 

Class 1854 PD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5207 ROWE, Mrs Jenny & ROWE, Miss Rebecca Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom.  Well schooled and presents a very pleasing picture.  Good length of rib with short loin and nicely rounded hindquarters.  Moved soundly both ways.
2nd: 5154 BEAGRIE, Mrs A & BEAGRIE, Mr A Feldhund Moonlight.  Fractionally less mature in body and rib than the winner at this stage but he presents a good outline with his proud carriage, good length of neck and good topline.  Moved well.
3rd: 5194 MOUNTFORD, Mrs M Lallybrook Royale Jester

Class 1855 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5166 CHRISTIE, Mrs Emma Louise & CHRISTIE, MR COLIN Cloudside Valentino At Decalleigh JW.  Certainly a contender for the CC as he impressed both standing and moving.  Harsh jacket with decent furnishings, excellent forehand with good bone and feet.  Ribs extend well back.  Well muscled hindquarters.
2nd: 5158 BINKS, Miss Anne E Tannahill Wild Day.  A little more exuberant than the winner but he too has quality and is quite classy.  Well balanced with good ground clearance.  Strong , well ribbed body and nicely rounded rump.  Sound.  
3rd: 5189 MOORE, Mr W Cloudside Vincent

Class 1856 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5161 BURDEN, Miss Claire Fowlerheight Huey.  Harsh jacket, good muscle tone, well ribbed with a firm muscular topline.  Nicely angulated and muscled hindquarters.  Moved out well with some drive.
2nd: 5198 PARKES, Mrs Karen & MCKAY, Mrs ELSA Cloudside Warren With Jubrancy.  Very typical in outline with his good deportment and clean neck and shouders.  Attractive head and expression.  Moved well, a shade softer in coat than the winner.

Class 1857 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5156 BEST, Mrs Julie Stanegate Set Em Up Joe For Bestina.  Very typical and shown in good muscle tone and a hard coat.  Pleasing head with strong jaw and masculine expression.  Good forehand with pleasing bone and decent feet.  Strong topline.  Moved out soundly with a good, ground covering stride. 
2nd: 5172 ELDRED, Miss Susan Ann Elizabeth Derdledash Naughty Neptune JW.  Good length of neck with proud head carriage and well laid shoulders.  Good ribbing which extends well back to a short loin.  Nicely rounded hindquarters but not quite the drive of the winner.
3rd: 5192 MOUNTFORD, Mrs M Incordemeo Beetle About

Class 1858 OD (5 Entries) Abs: 1
A good class.

1st: 5162 CARRUTHERS, Mrs J Ch Aikton Alexander At Stanegate. CC & BOB. Lively and animated with a perfect outline with his good carriage, clean neck and shoulders.  Good keel and brisket.  Ribs extend well back and he has some strength over the loins.  Attractive, masculine head with strong jaws and big teeth.  Hard jacket and good muscle tone.  Moved out really well covering plenty of ground.  I was delighted to hear that he won the Hound Group.  Many congratulations.
2nd: 5179 HOWLETT, Miss Roisin & PHILLIPS, Mrs V Ch Tendrow Malibar JW.  Reserve CC. Another who instantly impresses with his good outline.  Excellent forehand with pronounced sternum, good bone and feet. Ribbed well back, with good topline.  Pleasing strong.  Hindquarters. 1st class jacket and presentation.
3rd: 5181 HUNT, Ms Jacky Weinacht Larch At Drakkina JW

Class 1859 VB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5205 ROWE, Miss R Ch Boloria's Trick Or Treat JW VW.  Best Veteran. Happy and lively and obviously enjoying her day out.  Really typey and feminine.  Well balanced with decent ground clearance.  Harsh, well presented jacket with good furnishings.  Very impressive on the move as she has some drive and her stride is a good length. 

Class 1860 PB (9 Entries) Abs: 0
This was a good class.

1st: 5180 HOWLETT, Miss Roisin & ROWE, Miss R Boloria Oh Darling.  Best Puppy.  A real eye catcher with her good deportment, clean muscular neck good topline and underline. Good hindquarters.  Very well schooled and her footfall was impressive.  So pleased to see she was 2nd in the Puppy Group.  Well done. 
2nd: 5191 MOORE, Mrs Anne & DOWNES, Miss Laura Romanchi Night At The Opera.  Has some quality, honest and very typical.  Good head with strong jaw ans good dentition, ribs extend well back to good loin.  Presents a very pleasing overall picture.  Moved well with some drive. 
3rd: 5201 PATERSON, Mr Brian & PATERSON, Mr Peter Brumberhill Biscuit To Ambiesque

Class 1861 JB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5165 CHAMBERS, Miss Caroline Hototo's Village Gossip. Pleasing head which is nicely balanced and a good length.  Clean, lengthy neck and good bone and feet.  Prominent sternum and good keel.  Harsh, dense coat with good furnishings. Moved soundly.  
2nd: 5164 ARTHURS, Mr &Mrs A Elderkine's Austin. Another with an air of quality. Not quite the hard, muscular condition of the winner but she is pleasing to handle and typical in all respects.  A good moving, typical youngster. 
3rd: 5174 WESTON, Dr Leslie Ann & ELLRICH, Mrs Debra Kissdachs Gorgeous Mirabella No. One (imp Hun)

Class 1862 PGB (10 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 5188 MCPHERSON, Mr S A & PATERSON, Mr P C Brumberhill Barbed Wire.  I could have happily signed a CC for this young bitch.  Workmanlike and muscular with a dense hard jacket and decent furnishings. Feminine head and expression, clean long neck and good shoulders. Prominent breastbone and good keel.  Strong, well-muscled hindquarters gave her some drive on the move 
2nd: 5175 GRAHAM, Mrs J & Mr A Anne Boloria Wild Spice Jw.  In good coat and condition and she presents a lovely outline with her muscled topline and good undercarriage.  Well proportioned head, intelligent expression.  Good forehand. Good profile action. 
3rd: 5204 PHILLIPS, Mrs Valerie Tendrow Carolina Reaper

Class 1863 LB (8 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 5163 CARRUTHERS, Mrs J Stanegate Starlene.  Reserve CC. A classy bitch both standing and moving.  Free standing she holds herself well with a good head carriage from her lengthy neck.  Well ribbed and short coupled with muscular loins.  Nicely rounded hindquarters which she used effectively on the move.
2nd: 5171 ELDRED, Miss Susan Ann Elizabeth Derdledash Moon Beam.  Shown in a good harsh jacket with decent furnishings.  Mature in rib and body with good sternum and keel.  Well boned with good feet.  Moved soundly.
3rd: 5178 HOWE, Miss Emily Bramalodge Baby I'm Yours JW

Class 1864 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5176 MCCALMONT, Mrs Kim & MCCALMONT, Mr Duncan & HANNEY Ch Silvae Time After Time At Bronia.  CC.  A very good moving bitch who covered a lot of ground with her free, flowing action.  Dark, well shaped eyes, lively expression.  Excellent forehand with good bone and keel.  Ribs extend well back.  Nicely rounded, well muscled rump.  Top class.
2nd: 5209 SMITH, Mr Ian & SMITH, Mrs Fleur Windfalls Coco Noire At Salixian (imp Usa).  Lovely type and presents a most pleasing outline with her good topline and decent underline. Clean neck and shoulders.  Good bone.  Harsh, well presented jacket.  Good hind action just a shade untidy coming back to me.
