I thoroughly enjoyed the Canadian Eskimo Dogs, from an entry of 14 there was just 2 absentees. The Open class a great sight with 8 high quality animals present. Without exception, temperaments were excellent.
Class 395 PD/B NO ENTRIES
Class 396 JD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 1
Class 397 PGD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 929 NEEDHAM, Miss Yasmin Simone Norstrela Pulsar Wind Via Innugati. A handsome, well balanced dog. Strong, shortish neck, broad chest and good depth of brisket. Looked quite powerful on the move and he was shown in a good thick coat.
2nd: 930 NEEDHAM, Miss Yasmin Simone & ATKINS, Miss Sarah Qimugta Junipero. Feminine, decent skull and neat ears. Alert expression. Good forehand with adequate bone and decent feet. Firm topline and strong, well muscled hindquarters. Moved well.
Class 398 OD/B (9 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 922 BAILEY, Ms Racheal Ir Ch Qimugta Judas By Akna. Best Dog and BOB. Shown in really good coat and he is most impressive on the move with an easy, fluid action which I imagine he could sustain for a long period if need be. Broad skull and good, well-covered ears. Strong, well-developed chest and a powerful, well-muscled body.
2nd: 925 BYRNE, Mrs P A Aavuuta Qimmiq Akiak(shcex)(imp Can) (az3)bejch Ir. Reserve Best Dog. Another impressive, masculine dog of obvious good type. Pleasing for balance and substance but in no way coarse. Very good depth and breadth of chest. Good muscle tone over the loin and pleasing tailset. True both out and back and he is most workmanlike.
3rd: 923 BAILEY, Ms Racheal Akna King Peak*. Best Veteran.
