                                    Havanese report

PD(1)  1st  BD & BP Thorne's Bailemos Piano Man at Dyffrynsands what a delightful youngster, once he settled!  Lovely head, such a charming expression,  nice degree of stop,  well carried ears , nicely ribbed and a slight rise over the loin to a well set and carried tail.  A credit in coat presentation and once settled, he moved out with panache. Surely a bright future.

PGD(1)  1st &  Res. BD Read's Heronsbridge Energumene smallish self black, well put together with a good spring of ribs, a decent forechest and a well set and carried tail.   His head is nicely  balanced he has very dark, expressive eyes. Not the coat quality or quantity of the winner, but a nicely proportioned head  and a super temperament. Moved out with real purpose.

OD(1/1)

PB(3/1) 1st Thorne's Dyffrynsands Tiger Lily  such a pretty headed sable with that look at me expression.  Nicely constructed, sufficient neck, excellent ribbing and she holds herself with an air of importance as she circles the ring with a jaunty stride.  2nd Cooper's Elperrito Bright Light this well coated b/w has a decent neck, pleasing topline with that gentle rise over the loin.  Her head is well balanced and she has such expressive eyes. Not quite the free striding action of the winner as they circled the ring.

PGB(2)  1st Salmon's Dyffrynsands Margot Mae at Lizzielane  I admired the head quality of this fawn bitch and her expression is so good.  Enough neck, well sprung ribs and such a good tail set and carriage. Moved out well as she circled the ring.   2nd Smith's Elparrito Sheer Delight nicely presented & heavily coated, she has a well balanced head, very expressive eyes and good ears. Ample neck with good head carriage. Not quite the rear drive of the winner as they went around the ring.

OB(2)  1st BB & BOB Clements'  Roxholm Queen Bee a real charmer which just demanded the top awards. Beautifully coated and presented,  well balanced head, big eyes and sufficient stop.  Moderate neck but it is held high, very well ribbed and sufficient rear angulation. Comes into her own when moving, reach and drive and that hint of panache and style.  2nd & Res. BB Smith's Tiggafield Ebony Eyes. this b/w was so unlucky to meet the winner in such form.  I loved her head and expression, so well bodied and amply weighted bone. Not quite the coat presentation of the Queen but she is sound moving and ever so happy!
