                                    Schnauzer report

SBD(1) 1st & Best SBD Hardy's Kathalan Star Lord nice for size and weight of bone. Well balanced head, ears a bit unsettled as yet, very expressive eyes, ample reach in neck and nicely angulated hindquarters.  Side action shows an even stride, but needs to strengthen in hock.

VD(1)  1st & BV Bawden & Brown's Ch Khanate Gin Fizz Sh.CM  VW this old boy has sipped at the fountain of youth!!  Head, eyes and expression belie his 12 years and stacked he presents a super outline making use of his good neck to full advantage. Well ribbed, sufficient rear angulation and in excellent coat.  Moved round with good reach and drive.

PD(2/1)  1st Lewington's Dark Design Leebren Grand Calvera nice wither height, well balanced head with pleasing eyes and expression.  Ears  unsettled, moderate neck, well ribbed and good backline and tail set. He is well angulated aft and holds his shape well in profile action.  Today was rather playing up when action front viewed and he was lifting his forelegs.

PGD(4)  1st K. Star Lord  2nd Lockyer's Hilary Miccosukees Oklahoma  his skull  is a bit strong for me and his ears larger than I like.  He scores in spring and depth of rib, moderate neck ,  excellent coat texture and ample reach and drive in profile action. 3rd Moore's Odivane Brother to Arms

LD(3/1)   A photo finish between these two quality dogs. Both compact in shape with quality heads, good expressions, shown in pristine coat condition and matched each other stride for stride as they circled the ring.  I felt the winner had the edge in shoulder angulation which gave him that tad more reach in front. But  they could swap places easily.1st Lockyer's Hilary Xaviar Ppepper Grand Calvera at Miccosukees 2nd Toms & Daws' Minnienoon Navigator

OD(3)  1st & DCC Moore's  Ch Odivane A Sharp Dressed Man a lovely example of the breed.  Stylish, so eye catching on the stack where he uses that lovely neck to full advantage. Gently sloping backline, well angulated hindquarters and in excellent coat.  His head and expression are so appealing. A most worthy title holder.  2nd & Res CC Danelbeks Arthur Mo this handsome head chap is a tad on the big side for me but he has much to like. His head is a good shape, flat skulled, a modicum of stop, lovely eyebrows and neat ears. Loved his reach of neck and head carriage. Whilst he is big ribbed and fairly compact he just lacks that rear angulation which I like and that is exaggerated when he is over stretched on the stack. Side action is balanced and good hock use.   3rd Dixon's Elnajjar Dawn Walker

VB(1)  1st Watson's  Ch Jalero Miss Iowher 11 and a half years young! So much to commend as she is well bodied, has excellent ribbing, correct backline, enough reach in neck and ample rear angulation.  Her head is well proportioned, ears a tad heavier than I like but looks at her best circling the ring with such a positive stride.

PB (1)  1st & BP Maiden's Maidlums Love Again what a promising youngster this is. Loved her head, eyes and an expression which defied me not to love her.  Enough neck, excellent length/height proportions with a decent spring of rib and she is at her best circling the ring with such a positive and powerful stride. Full marks for coat presentation.

JB(2)  1st Mather's Miccosukees Dream Girl to Danelbeks  took a few seconds to settle but then her lovely make and shape were evident. Delightfully feminine head and expression from such dark, well shaped eyes.  Use her well arched neck to best advantage, is well ribbed and really motored as she went round the ring. Surely a bright future. 2nd  Wawrzeniec's Wyggyfuzz Arete this youngster was not over keen on being handled and as a consequence did little to help make the best of her virtues. Different type in head than the first and she persisted in standing over stretched making her appear long cast. I am sure with ringcraft lessons she can be made to look much better than she did today.

PGB(4)  1st Bradshaw's Kaiteriteri Hijinx  what a stylish bitch this is. Loved her head, eyes and expression aided by well set and carried ears. Big ribbed, lovely forehand, gently sloping backline to  ample angulated hindquarters. In super coat. Moved around the ring with a balanced stride and sufficient hock action.  Should finish well. 2nd Stacey's Dovahdok's A Lady Kida  darker shaded than the winner and not quite the tightness in elbow as her when action fore viewed.  Nicely headed, sufficient reach in neck, very well bodied and amply muscled himdquarters. 3rd Morgan's Leebren Midnight Star Gazer at Hexemeister

LB(5/1)  1st & Res CC Railton's Lefenix Luck Would Have It  a top quality bitch with so much to admire. Ultra feminine in head and expression, very good neck, so well ribbed and muscled and shown in excellent jacket. She moved around the ring with reach and drive, holding her shape and with that look at me attitude which I loved. Surely title bound. 2nd Lockyer's   Hillary Miccosukees Love Heart I liked the head quality of this bitch and her delightful knowing expression. For me she is a tad deep in rib for her leg length but this is compensated by her lovely neck and backline. Shown is super coat, she moved around the ring with such a positive stride.3rd Mather's Danelbeks A Kind Of Magic

OB(5)  1st CC & BOB Atkinson  Boulton's Boujan Hanky Panky owned the ring from the moment she entered it. On the tiptoe of expectation, loved her size and lenough to the big ring.gth/height proportions.  Beautiful head and expression, nicely arched neck, almost square in length/height proportions, sufficient rear angulation and she moved around the ring with the lightest of strides showing reach and drive. Beautifully coated and well handled and I was delighted to send her through to the Group.   2nd Moore's Ch Odivane Sister Act another quality example of the breed and unsurprised to discover she is already ennobled. Beautiful head and expression, lovely wither height, well bodied and enough neck.  Scores in forechest and firmness in backline on the stack. She covers the ground nicely in profile but I felt the two I put over her in the challenge were firmer in hock.  3rd Maiden's Ir Ch Maidluns Amazing Grace JW

GCB(1)   1st  L. Midnight Star Gazer at H. nice for size, pleasing head planes, nice flat skull, ears a bit unsettled which detracted from her expression, decent spring and depth of rib and ample rear angulation.  Topline dips when stacked which spoils her outline. Loved her temperament.
