8 month old Pied boy. Strong, square head, lovely dark eye, well padded muzzle and correct bite. Nicely set ears, constantly used, thick neck and a straight front. Lovely side profile, well sprung ribs for his age, a neat tuck up and moderately angled hindquarters. Moved soundly with ease. BPD & BPIB

11 month old fawn male. Strong, masculine head, dark eye, well padded black mask and a good ear set. Straight Front on strong pasterns, nice topline & tailset, deep chest and good tuck up. Moderate rear angulation giving him good, steady movement.

1ST 233 Khanin Gunner Make It, SMITH, Mrs Michelle & PRATT, Mrs Jean & SMITH, Mr Richard

I’m not going to lie, I was hoping to get my hands on this male and oh my god, did he NOT disappoint me… he has a flawless, masculine, square head with a lovely dark eye, full of expression, super set ears, which he used constantly, all finished with a well padded muzzle and correct slightly undershot jaw. A super-straight front on strong pasterns and tight feet, lovely well sprung ribs, along with a deep chest and good tuck up. Correct topline with a gentle roach, flowing into moderately angled hindquarters. He almost commands your attention on the stand and I could simply not take my eye off him on the move. True coming and going, but for me, it was his side action that I could have watched all day. Oozing in breed type, style and quality it’s not difficult to understand how he has achieved so much success at his tender age. DCC & BOB

A striking brindle male with lots to like. Lovely square, masculine head, dark eye, well padded muzzle and good ears. He has a straight front on strong pasterns, a nice length of neck, correct topline and tailset, together with a good spring of rib, sufficient tuck up and moderately angled hindquarters. Very steady on the move with that typical Frenchie roll.

2ND 235 Castrum Osinium Roller Coaster JW (Imp Cro), SUHAREVA, Miss Sintija

Another lovely masculine head. This dark brindle boy has matching dark eyes and a well padded muzzle. Would prefer his ears to be a little closer set if I was being picky. Straight front and strong pasterns. A good spring of rib and a nice topline. Well angulated rear giving him good movement.

1ST 245 Ruption Knightcott Back To Black, VEARNCOMBE AND HALE, Mr, Mrs & Mrs J. A & S

Brindle dog with a pleasing head, open nostrils and a well padded mouth hiding good dentition. Nicely set eras, which were used well. Fractionally slightly in body than some, but a correct topline and nicely angulated hindquarters. Lovely sound movement.

Really liked this brindle male, really well balanced. Soft, yet masculine square head. Dark eye, wonderfully padded muzzle and a super ear set. Straight front, strong neck and a gentle roach on the topline. Well sprung rib and a good deep chest. Moderate rear angulation and lovely on the move. The class stand out winner.

2ND 223 Casemates Criterion, KELLY, Mrs E

If there was a class for the most typical clown-like Frenchie, this male would win it every time… He gave his handler a hard time throughout, but I really liked his qualities and especially his vivacious temperament. He has a gorgeous head and expression, open nostrils and a well padded muzzle. Good size and well used bat ears. Good neck, slightly longer cast than other in his class but this gave him super movement. He has a correct topline, straight front and moderate angulation.

I was as thrilled as I was nervous when this stunning male entered the ring. I had the pleasure of judging him at his very show championship show when he was 8 months old and awarded him the RDCC, behind his Sire. Anyone who says judging is easing, probably shouldn’t be judging… Having to put aside all the success this dog has had was near-impossible, but I tried my best and judged the dog purely on the day. All that said, wowsers, has he still got it! An exquisite square, masculine head, correctly set ears, dark eye and a sufficiently padded muzzle hiding great dentition. Thick, arched neck on a super straight front, lovely topline, well sprung ribs and a deep chest. Well angulated hindquarters giving him super drive and a pleasure top watch move. He just had to be within my top honours! RDCC

Another from the top drawer… A quality brindle male oozing in breed type and quality. Gorgeous square head with intelligent, expressive eyes. Nice ear set and well padded muzzle. Another cracking front on strong pasterns, finished off with tight feet. Beautifully balanced with a correct topline, tuck up and rear angulation. Another who moved soundly and correctly.

11 month old fawn with black mask. What a cutie… She has the prettiest of heads and the sweetest of expressions. Lovely square, feminine head, open nostrils and a well padded muzzle. Good front on strong pasterns and when relaxed and extended has a lovely topline. Good spring of rib, depth of chest and tuck up. Being picky, I’d prefer more rear angulation, but she’s still a babe. Moved out beautifully.

Another full of typical Frenchie characteristics! A sweet head, open nostrils and well used ears. Sufficient head, nice front and moderate rear angulation. A cracking little mover.

Two very similar brindle bitches in style and quality.

Pretty square head, dark eye, open nostrils and a well padded muzzle. Good reach of neck, straight front and strong pasterns. Nice topline, good spring of rib and moderate rear angulation. Moved very well, covering the ground with ease.

Another very feminine girl with dark eye, lovely ear set, open nostrils and a well padded muzzle. Good neck and strong pasterns, lovely topline and nice rear angulation. Moved and shown well.

A very pretty, balanced brindle bitch with a very feminine head. Great ear set, which she used, wide open nostrils and good padding around her muzzle. A super straight front, good pasterns and feet. Lovely topline and correct tailset. Moderate rear angulation giving her a clean and sound movement.

A very nice pied bitch. Square head, typical bat ears, dark eye and a well padded muzzle. Another with a straight front and good pasterns. Lovely topline and good spring of rib. Well angled hindquarters. Very steady and surefooted on the move.

Fawn with dark mask. A fraction smaller than others today, but beautifully balanced with clean lines. Small, square head, very pretty in shape with large round eye and well padded muzzle. Sufficient thick neck, straight front, correct topline and good tuck up. Moderate rear angulation. Lovely mover.

2ND 207 Archness The Vivacious, BRYANT, Miss V.

Fawn bitch with black mask. Another beautiful girl with a feminine, square head. Defined stop, dark eye and great padding. Ample neck, straight front and a good topline. Moderate rear angulation and great movement. I think she would still benefit from a little less ‘body’.

Fawn with black mask. Another smaller type and again, oozing in breed type and quality. Exquisitely feminine head, dark eye, defined stop and padded muzzle. Flat brow between correctly set ears, which she used constantly. Super straight front on good pasterns and tight feet. Lovely reach of neck, correct topline, tuck up and rear angulation. Trained and shown to perfection, she didn’t put a paw wrong once. Seriously considered her for the reserve CC.

2ND 206 Archness The Dramallama JW, BRYANT, Miss V.

Brindle bitch. Stronger in head than others and by that I do not mean masculine. Square head with a lovely expression, super ear set and well padded muzzle. Lovely straight front, strong pasterns and good feet. Lovely body shape, very well balanced with a correct topline with moderately angled hindquarters. Another solid mover.

Another very strong open class, giving me yet another difficult decision to make.

This brindle girl has a wonderful square head and expression. Super ear set, eyes are full of life and intelligence. Open nostrils, a wonderfully padded muzzle and correct, slightly undershot mouth. A wonderful straight front on the strongest of pasterns and tight feet. Cracking outline, topline and rear angulation and boy, could she move! Lovely and straight towards and away and just perfect viewed in side profile. BCC, her third.

2ND 227 Ch Bullhawk Egg's Citing At Membully, MEMBURY, Mrs T & MEMBURY, Mr T & PEARCE, Mrs S

Quality brindle bitch. I find myself repeating the same thing, but this bitch had another cracking square, yet feminine head. Bright, intelligent expression, defined stop, open nostrils and sufficiently padded muzzle. Ears correctly set.  Straight front, strong pasterns and tight feet. Another with a correct topline and tailset, well sprung ribs and good depth of chest. Moderately angled rear giving her good movement. She pushed hard in the challenge, but had to settle for the RBCC today.

Thrilled to get the chance to go over this girl again and she has lost nothing in regard to style and quality from when I gave her the bitch CC and BOB… Lovely feminine head, wide eyes showing intelligence and experience, good open nostrils, well padded muzzle and still with great dentition. A wonderful straight front, good pasterns and tight feet. Perfect topline, good spring of rib, tuck up and moderate rear angulation. She simply flowed around the ring, showing that she still has it! Thrilled to award her BVIB.
